Isaiah 40:1-5

1 Comfort, comfort my people, says your God.

2 Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and cry to her that her warfare is over, that her penalty is paid, that she has received from the Lord's hand double for all her sins.

3 A voice cries out: "In the wilderness prepare the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.

4 Every valley shall be lifted up, and every mountain and hill be made low; the uneven ground shall become level, and the rough places a plain.

5 And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all people shall see it together, for the mouth of the Lord has spoken."

Hebrew 10:32-36

Hebrew 10:32-36

“Think back on those early days when you first learned about Christ. Remember how you remained faithful even though it meant terrible suffering. Sometimes you were exposed to public redicule and were beaten, and sometimes you helped others who were suffering the same things. You suffered along with those who were thrown into jail, and when all you owned was taken from you, you accepted it with joy. You knew there were better things waiting for you that will last forever. So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you! Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that He has promised.”

I’m encouraged by your humility and surrendered heart. His word says when we are weak He is strong. My prayer for you and your family is a promise from God’s word that NO WEAPON formed against you will prosper and what Satan meant for evil will be used for God’s Glory. Jesus bless this servant and as he rests tonight I ask that Your Blood mark the door posts defeating any attack that would wage war against his heart. May he and his loved ones awake in the morning knowing Your mercies are new. I this in Jesus Name.
